Almyra's location means that guests have the advantage of direct access to extensively landscaped gardens and the sea, while also being within walking distance of the shops, castle, the house of Dionysos with its unparalleled Roman mosaics and many other attractions in and around the Pafos area. Almyra is situated directly on the beach, which has been awarded a Blue Flag for 2007.

Three 18-hole golf courses are located only a short drive from Almyra: Tsada Golf Couse is only 18 km, Secret Valley Golf Course is 20 km, and Aphrodite Hills Golf Course is 22 km away.

Pafos International Airport is located 8km, and Larnaca International Airport is located 130 km from Almyra.

Kyma Seafront Suite
Almyra's signature suite is situated in the gardens in a privileged seafront position, close enough to hear the waves ('Kyma' in Greek) of the Mediterranean. This spacious open-plan suite has a sitting and bedroom area with spectacular sea views. The bathroom is lavishly appointed, with a separate rain shower and natural daylight.

The suite opens to a private seafront terrace with a sofa and dining table. A king size 'day bed' on the lawn adds an extra touch of extravagance. Panoramic views of Pafos harbour can be enjoyed from the private roof top terrace with its additional seating area, which is also ideally suited for savouring an Omakase dinner. Additional features include an espresso machine and DVD / CD players. The suite can accommodate two adults, plus one child and an infant in a baby cot. Some Kyma Suites are interconnecting, available on request only.

Junior Suite
Ideal for families with children, this spacious suite can accommodate a couple, an extra bed for a child up to the age of 12 and a baby cot. It has floor-to-ceiling sliding windows, and some have a balcony or terrace with panoramic sea views. Some suites interconnect to a veranda or terrace sea view room.

Aethon Sea View Room
New for 2008, Almyra introduces the luxury sea view Aethon* room. With stunning sea views over Pafos harbour, these rooms have been recently been fully renovated with the addition of state-of-the-art facilities.

Aethon rooms have spacious balconies overlooking the beautifully landscaped Mediterranean gardens. An extra bed can be accommodated, and additional features include walk-in showers and flat screen TV's.

Terrace Sea View Room
Located on the ground floor of the main building, this room has marble floors and panoramic sea views from a terrace extending onto the beautifully landscaped Mediterranean gardens. An extra bed or baby cot can be accommodated and interconnecting rooms are available.

Veranda Sea View Room
This airy room has marble floors and panoramic views of the sea and Pafos castle from a private balcony. An extra bed or baby cot can be accommodated and some of the rooms can be interconnected with a junior suite for added space and convenience.

One Bedroom Suite
This luxuriously appointed accommodation with magnificent sea views has a separate bedroom and living room, affording both space and privacy. The living room has a separate bathroom and can accommodate further guests. Added touches of luxury include CD and DVD players, an espresso machine and exclusive bathroom accessories. One extra bed and a baby cot can be accommodated in a one-bedroom suite.

Two Bedroom Suite
This luxuriously appointed accommodation with magnificent sea views has two separate bedrooms and a living room, affording both space and privacy. The living room has a separate bathroom and can accommodate further guests. Extra amenities include CD and DVD players, an espresso machine, and exclusive bathroom accessories. One extra bed and a baby cot can be accommodated in each of the two bedrooms.

Superior Sea View Room
This elegant room is located in the main building of the hotel, with marble floors and panoramic views of the sea and Pafos castle through floor-to-ceiling sliding windows. An extra bed or baby cot can be accommodated. Interconnecting rooms are available.

Terrace Garden View Room
A stylish double room in cool pastel tones, with marble floors. Floor-to-ceiling sliding windows open onto a private terrace extending onto the lawn and beautifully landscaped Mediterranean gardens. An extra bed or baby cot can be accommodated. Interconnecting rooms are available.

Garden / Inland View Room

Interconnecting Kyma Suites

Water Sports
Cyprus is a perfect place to begin or continue your endless adventure into the underwater world. For certified divers, we can organise excursions to various dive sites around the island, including various bays around the Akamas Peninsula, and even the Zinovia shipwreck near Larnaca for advanced divers.

For those who have never dived before, why not try it now. We can arrange lessons whether it is just for the experience or to become an internationally recognised qualified diver. Enjoy private chartered sailing trips around the Pafos coastline and to the secluded bays of the Akamas Peninsula.

Other watersports such parasailing, windsurfing and waterskiing may be arranged for you by our Guest Services. Kitesurfing may also be arranged for you at Anassa beach, or at beaches near to Almyra.

Sports
With one floodlit tennis court, table-tennis, gymnasium, and sea sports such as windsurfing, kite-surfing, sailing cruises, parascending and scuba-diving, there are several sports to choose from at Almyra.

In addition rock-climbing, mountain-biking, pony-trekking and hill-trekking activities are available.

Golf
All year golfing becomes a reality in Cyprus at the superb 18-hole championship, par 72 Tsada Golf Club, with stunning views matched by first-class facilities.

Bathed in the warmth of the Mediterranean sunshine, Tsada Golf Club offers golfing enthusiasts the opportunity to play in winter and summer alike. Located just 14km from Almyra, the course is suitable for players of all abilities, and with a PGA Pro on hand to offer help and advice, they will challenging enough for even the most experienced golfer.

Mare Nostrum Boutique, situated in the entrance courtyard of the hotel retails a range of designer shoes, clothing, jewellery and leather goods for sale, as well as all the items you might need on your holidays.

Almyra will launch its own Spa this coming Summer. The Spa will reflect the contemporary style and affordable chic that characterises the hotel, with a focus on organic products from JUST PURE as the premium brand and natural marine based skincare therapies from Osea product lines.

Children's Facilities
Families are an integral part of Almyra's contemporary seaside resort philosophy. The hotel boasts a dedicated children's club for 4-11yrs with extensive facilities and special children's menus. Almyra's Baby Go Lightly service offers parents the opportunity to order every manner of baby item in advance of travelling, saving plenty of space in your suitcase. In 2007, Almyra introduced "Baby Go Lightly" Crèche, for children from 6 months to 4 years old.

Notios :
Almyra has introduced an exciting and sophisticated concept at Notios, the al fresco à la carte restaurant, which draws upon the purity of Japanese food and reflects the sensuality of Mediterranean taste. A strong advocate of experimentation in order to create a spectrum of flavours, textures and colours, our executive chef is also passionate about the power of honesty and restraint. The result is original, simple modern cuisine with culinary integrity.

Mosaics :
Guests can enjoy lavish buffets meals at Mosaics, which is also where the scrumptious breakfasts are served. Mosaics is the main restaurant of the hotel and the meals are focused on pleasing all taste buds. Featuring a live kitchen, the flavours are varied and the theme of this restaurant is mainly of a Mediterranean / international flavour. The à la carte and selectors menus offer a selection of salads or cold appetizers, fresh meat cuts, seafood display, special à la minute cooking and of course, homemade sweets. Exciting theme nights such as Seafood Market, Asian-Pacific or Cyprus Traditional complete the casual dining experience.

Ouzeri :
Located at beach level, Ouzeri is our traditional seasside summertime restaurant, focusing on light Greek snacks and simple local Cypriot dishes. Depending on the weather, the Ouzeri also offers barbeques at night on the beach where it is situated. Ouzeri is closed in the period from November to March.

Flavours at Helios :
Located on the right side of the lobby by the fireplace. A lovely setting to enjoy your dinner, with magnificent sea vistas, accompanied by live music on selected evenings.

Helios Lounge Bar :
Fresh, ground coffee, delicious pastries, cakes and light refreshments are served throughout the day, as well as cocktails and drinks. A perfect setting to enjoy your sundowners, with a magnificent view overlooking the sea and the Paphos Castle in the distance.

Omakase:
Experience Omakase Menus

Our Executive Chef is proud to present Almyra style tasting menus with a Japanese-Mediterranean approach. In Japanese the meaning of Omakase is "trust the chef". When ordering Omakase you discover the menu as you dine. It becomes a surprise at the table.that's the name of the game with Omakase. In these multi-course dinners the courses come out one by one. Each course has a different flavour and texture.

Zen Meze :
Zen Meze is influenced by the ambiance of the Notios area, where the waves come crashing in as the sun meets the horizon.

Offering meals in the meze style makes the experience more enjoyable for families or large groups. It becomes more than just a meal - it turns into a social event as the guests share the various dishes. The Zen Meze makes use of dishes from the Á la Carte Menu and we serve them in the meze style. As the various dishes are prepared they are placed in the middle of the table and the guests share them together.

Barbeque on the Beach :
New for Summer 2007, Almyra introduces the Family Barbeque on the beach. Specially for families, this weekly barbeque offers a tasty choice of grilled meat, fish and vegetables, as well as a variety of starters, salads and desserts, on Almyra beach. Enjoy the sunset and the beach atmosphere, while a guitarist playing Greek music accompanies the meal.
